Day 1 Beijing arrival
Upon your arrival in Beijing, our professional tour guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer to your hotel with air-conditioned private vehicle.
Day 2 Beijing (L, SD)
Morning visit the Tian'anmen Square, the heart of urban Beijing and large enough to accommodate an assembly of one million people. It stands in front of the Forbidden City, covering over 100 acres. Then visit the Forbidden City, it is the world's largest palace complex and covers 74 hectares. Built between 1406 and 1420, the Forbidden City was the home of the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties, a period extending over 500 years. This afternoon visit the Temple of Heaven, where Chinese emperors used to pray the good harvest. At last visit the Summer Palace, the best preserved and the second largest royal garden in China, with a history of over 800 years. In 1998, it was listed as one of the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. In the evening enjoy a delicious Peking Duck Dinner.
Day 3 Beijing (L)
Today's tour will take you to visit The Eighth Wonder of the World---Great Wall. On your way back, you will visit the majestic Sacred Way and Ming Tomb, where you can see the underground palace of the Chinese emperors with their valuable authentic burial objects.
Day 4 Beijing (L)
Morning ride in three-wheeled rickshaws through Beijing's quaint alleys (Hutong), experiencing the lifestyle of the Beijing locals. Proceed to visit Lama Temple, the only Beijing city temple that survived the Cultural Revolution. It is the largest Lama Temple outside Tibet. It was built in 1694 and the architecture and ornamentation of the buildings show the influence of Han, Manchu, Mongolian and Tibetan styles. You will then enjoy the market shopping at the exciting Beijing Silk Alley Markets.
Day 5 Beijing (L)
Visit Beijing Zoo, which mainly exhibits wild and rare animals growing in China, such as the Panda and the Golden Monkey. Also, it boasts many rare animals from all around the world, such as White Bear from the North Pole, Kangaroo from Australia, Zebra from Africa. Moreover, heads of states gave some of the animals. Then drive to visit the Marco Polo Bridge, Beijing’s oldest bridge, became world famous because it was a Japanese attack on the bridge which started the Japanese invasion of China in 1937. At last visit Zhoukoudian, is the former residence of Peking man, who lived here approximately 200,000 to 500,000 years ago.
Day 6 Beijing (L)
Today you will visit 798 Art Factory, it is bringing together contemporary art, architecture, and culture with a historically interesting location and an urban lifestyle, "798" has evolved into a cultural concept, of interest to experts and normal folk alike, influential on our concepts of both urban culture and living space. Then drive to Chuandixia Village, considered as a “pearl” of the traditional village of China. It has a rich history, first established more than 500 hundred years ago to the time of the Ming (1368-1644).
Day 7 Beijing
Free day.
Day 8 Beijing departure
Transfer to the airport and fly to your next destination, service ends.
