Day 1 Beijing arrival
Upon your arrival in Beijing, our professional tour guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer to your hotel with air-conditioned private vehicle.
Day 2. Tian Anmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace
Morning visit the Tiananmen Square, the heart of urban Beijing and large enough to accommodate an assembly of one million people. It stands in front of the Forbidden City, covering over 100 acres. Then visit the Forbidden City, it is the world's largest palace complex and covers 74 hectares. Built between 1406 and 1420, the Forbidden City was the home of the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties, a period extending over 500 years. This afternoon visit the Temple of Heaven, where Chinese emperors used to pray the good harvest. At last visit the Summer Palace, the best preserved and the second largest royal garden in China, with a history of over 800 years. In 1998, it was listed as one of the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. In the evening enjoy a delicious Peking Duck Dinner.
Day 3 Beijing (L)
Today's tour will take you to visit The Eighth Wonder of the World---Great Wall. On your way back, you will visit the majestic Sacred Way and Ming Tomb, where you can see the underground palace of the Chinese emperors with their valuable authentic burial objects.
Day 4 Beijing (L)
Morning ride in three-wheeled rickshaws through Beijing's quaint alleys (Hutong), experiencing the lifestyle of the Beijing locals. Proceed to visit Lama Temple, the only Beijing city temple that survived the Cultural Revolution. It is the largest Lama Temple outside Tibet. It was built in 1694 and the architecture and ornamentation of the buildings show the influence of Han, Manchu, Mongolian and Tibetan styles. You will then enjoy the market shopping at the exciting Beijing Silk Alley Markets.
Day 5 Beijing departure
Transfer to the airport and fly to your next destination, service ends.
