White Cloud Temple, Lama Temple and Confucius Temple --- Tour code: BPOT-009

Pick you up your hotel at 08:30. A full day excursion to the White Cloud Temple, it is one of "The Three Great Ancestral Courts" of the Complete Perfection Sect of Daoism, and is titled "The First Temple under Heaven". Proceed to visit Lama Temple(Yonghe Palace), the only Beijing city temple that survived the Cultural Revolution. It is the largest Lama Temple outside Tibet. It was built in 1694 and the architecture and ornamentation of the buildings show the influence of Han, Manchu, Mongolian and Tibetan styles. At last visit the Temple of Confucius in Beijing is the place where people paid homage to Confucius during the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368), Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). Now the temple houses the Beijing Capital Museum. Return to your hotel.
