Itinerary

Pick up from your hotel after breakfast and drive to the start point of Hutong tour. Start to visit the Drum Tower to get a bird's eye view of the old Beijing city. Then escorted by an English-speaking guide, take a rickshaw tour to Hutong in the neighborhood of Houhai area and visit a local family’s house to get to know traditional Beijing courtyard residence (Siheyuan) and authentic local people’s life. After free talking with the host or hostess, you will have chance to learn how to make Chinese dumpling and enjoy the lunch in the family. After lunch, you can walk to the local free market or kindergarten to get more information about traditional Beijing and local people. Then continue to tour Prince Gong's garden and mansion which was the residence of the last Qing Emperor's father. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon. Service ends.
