Day 1 Beijing / Xian (L)
Meet you at your hotel and transfer to the airport to take your flight to Xian. Upon arrival, transfer to visit the Terra Cotta Warriors. It is the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. It was listed by UNESCO in 1987 as one of the world cultural heritages. The museum covers an area of 16,300 square meters, divided into three sections: No. 1 Pit, No. 2 Pit, and No. 3 Pit respectively. Then drive back to Xian and visit City Wall. It's the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world.
Day 2 Xian (B, L)
Morning visit Shaanxi Provincial Museum. It is a comprehensive museum with more than 370,000 exhibits of different times and kinds. Then drive to visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda, it is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists. It functioned to collect Buddhist materials that were taken from India by the hierarch Xuanzang. At last visit Forest of Stone Steles Museum, this treasure house holds a large collection of the earliest stone steles of different periods, from the Han Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty. All together, there are 3,000 steles and the museum is divided into seven exhibitions halls, which mainly display the works of calligraphy, painting and historical records.
Day 3 Xian departure (B)
Transfer to the airport and fly to your next destination, service ends.
