Beijing Tongrentang Medicine Store
Established in 1669 in the field of Chinese medicine, Beijing Tongrentang has enjoyed a high reputation both at home and abroad because of its unique recipes, use of high-quality materials, advanced technologies and remarkable effects.
Beijing Tongrentang Co., Ltd., a Chinese company established in 1997, is principally involved in the manufacture and sale of traditional Chinese medicines, under the brand of Tongrentang. The Company also produces chemical medicines, in the form of capsules, tablets and liquids. Its major products include Wuji Baifeng Pill, for treatment of menstrual disorder, and Liuwei Dihuang Pill, for treatment of weak kidneys. Headquartered in Beijing China, the Company distributes its products in the domestic market and overseas markets.
Rong Bao Zhai
The history of this centuries-old shop is full of ups and downs. According to related records, the forerunner of Rong Bao Zhai Pine & Bamboo Room, the store was first established in the 11th of Kang Xi (AD 1672) in Qing Dynasty, and later changed into Rong Bao Zhai in the 20th year of GuangXu (AD 1894). Originally it only developed simple calligraphy and black-line joss picture. The shop we see today locates at No.19 Liulichang West Street, Xuanwu District.
Rong Bao Zhai is famous for its stunt of wood board water marking. The source of wood board water marking of China can be traced back to the 9th Tang Xian Tong year (AD 868) and there is one thousand years of history. Wood board water marking is a special old manual printing technology for China with which people can print China painting just like original works, mix the false with the genuine and is unapproachable for any printing technology.
Rui Fu Xiang Silk Fabric Store
Founded in 1893 A.D, the Rui Fu Xiang Silk Fabric Store enjoys a high reputation both at home and abroad. It was one of the biggest stores in the old Beijing city. There is an old saying that "for the best hat, you should go to" Ma Ju Yuan "; for the best shoes, you should go to "Rui Fu Xiang".

Li Ya Tang
Established at the end of Qing Dynasty, Li Ya Tang is not only collecting and selling old books but also famous for mounting pictures, books and calligraphy. In old Beijing mounting shops, shops with high technology and good credit most centralize in the Colored Glaze Plant (Liulichang). At the end of Qing Dynasty and the beginning of China Republic era, the best mounting places in Beijing is Yi Ya Shop and Yi Wen Shop and later mounting adepts come from the two shops. An ancient book mounted carefully has a narrow thin cotton paper ant the crease, but the book is orderly and it seems that all has the same thickness.
Now Beijing Mounting industry still centralizes on Liu Li Chang Street. Yi Ya Tang locates at No. 104 on the south of east Liulichang and mainly sells calligraphies and paintings, Chinese stationery, ancient and modern ceramic products and travel industrial arts produces.
