Beijing Friendship Store
The first Friendship Store in Beijing was built in 1964. It was one of the first real comprehensive retailer in Beijing, and the only one to sell foreign goods. For many years, this store was an obligatory stop for every diplomatic envoys, foreign scholars, experts or entrepreneurs visiting China. It was the first choice shopping place for all foreigners.
 After the opening-door policy was implemented in early 1980s, the Beijing Friendship Store opened its 9,000 square meters to every customer and starts to offer, in a bright and spacious shopping environment and comfortable and elegant design, a large variety of traditional Chinese goods as well as foreign goods. They are actually selling more than 56, 000 varieties of goods including Chinese handicrafts items, such as jade carvings, stone sculptures, cloisonn, china-wares, embroideries, paintings, calligraphies, traditional Chinese garments, etc.
Beijing Friendship store has been the official retail provider for the 2008 Olympic Games.

Beijing Yuanlong Silk Plaza
 As the Asian largest silk-products center, Yuanlong Silk Plaza is located near the north gate of the Temple of Heaven. The five-story Plaza offers a great variety of choices of silk embroidery, drawn work, handmade carpets, tapestries, silk/satin items, brocades, and other clothing.
A highlight of a visit to the plaza is the spacious Yuanlong Silk Museum, the first of its kind in such a center, which traces the history of silk and its manufacture. On view are numerous carefully prepared illustrations of the silk industry's initial development along the famous Silk Road, and the crucial role played by the humble mulberry and the moths that feed off it. Weaving demonstrations by experienced workers are held, including that of hand-made carpets.

Beijing Cloisonne Factory
Beijing Cloisonn Factory was founded in 1956 and is the biggest and one of the most professional factories in making cloisonn ware in China. It provides a rich collection of cloisonn products, including cloisonn vases, plates, kettles, animals, bells, bracelets, pendants, etc.
The guides working in the factory will lead the visitors both from home and abroad to go to workshops directly to visit the making process of cloisonn, Beijing traditional handicraft, enjoying the hand making methods of ancient cloisonn ware.
