Ri Tan Restaurant
Located on the Southwest corner of Ri Tan (Sun Temple) Park, Ri Tan Restaurant enjoys a large courtyard surrounded by buildings on three sides, and a fish pond and bamboo garden on the fourth. Although the interior has not been restored to match the traditional exterior, the atmosphere is pleasant and outside seating is available. During the spring and summer, guests can enjoy traditional Chinese music concert performed under a pavilion set over the pond or a leisurely after-dinner stroll through the adjacent Sun Temple Park.
Ri Tan Restaurant offers and extensive Sichuan menu featuring the peppery and spicy cuisine of this province, along with many popular dishes from all over china for those who can not take it so hot. Prices are reasonable with an average meal running 40-50 RMB per person. Private dining rooms are available and require a pre-set minimum food and beverage purchase.
